Finalists in the First Annual Robotics Development Innovator Awards Announced
Products and companies that have contributed significantly to the personal, service and mobile robotics industry to be recognized
Framingham, Mass. – September 24, 2008 – Robotics Trends, a division of EH Publishing, Inc., today announced the finalists in the First Annual Robotics Development Innovator Awards. The goal of the Robotics Development Innovator Awards is to recognize products and companies that have contributed significantly to the personal, service and mobile robotics industry over the previous 12 months by providing inventive design and development tools, as well as component technology, which reduce the time, effort and complexity of building of commercial robotics products, and in doing so furthering the robotics industry as a whole.
Awards are given in two categories: ‘Component Technology' and ‘Design and Development Tools.’ A panel of distinguished industry experts has selected to review the entries and determine the winner in each of the two categories. Entries are judged according to seven criteria: requirement, functionality, features, applicability, value, interoperability and innovation. The winners will be announced on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at the RoboDevelopment Conference and Exposition taking place at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.
